Well, he and my mom got a little over him, but he had this plan. He knew what he wanted to do and he found the perfect woman to do it with. My mother is the real hero of the Paskowitz family.
And in addition to supporting Doc’s unconventional lifestyle, Juliette also championed her children’s love for surfing.
“My mom was one of the first and most amazing surfer moms of all time,” said her son Adam. “She followed my dad, Surf Guru, Doc Paskowitz, through the dangerous world in a 24ft RV with nine kids, all in the name of the crazy life we call surfing. As a surfer herself she was pregnant or nursing for as long as I can remember and never had a day off. Family surfing was our passion and therefore his.
“I’m sure somewhere in the universe she and my dad are playing in the water like kids, like they did in Waikiki in the late 1970s.
